- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Everybody I know will be contacted about this University and the tearing down of a cross and removing of Bibles from a chapel. My children will not come to this school. You should be ashamed removing a part of history. Doesn't matter if you believe in a higher power or not. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Why is this campus allowing...requiring a chapel on campus to cut the cross off of the steeple and stating that all the Bibles have to be removed????? This video that I received by two different people from two different states...is being sent all over the US. I am not understanding why any campus would choose to make this choice. Sad that people/students that want to go to a chapel would be stripped of that right on a college campus. Cultural diversity is supposed to be taught and accepted at the college level....guess your campus is choosing to not teach that.... How is it going that one person's beliefs trumps another....when did it become a contest of who wines and gripes the loudest....when did it become acceptable to destroy historical buildings that have been used for a chapel for years...history has always been something that is required in school....because the powers that be require us to learn about it....yet different groups daily are trying to remove or tear down parts of history all over the US. Pretty soon these groups will get the powers that be to only teach "parts of history" that they want kids to know about....where does it stop? When are organizations going to stand up for what is right instead of folding to every "whim of the day" from just "small groups" of people who personally want to destroy anything and everything that "they" don't agree with????By Shannon Rink, November 05, 2016
